Ginn cancelled the Hammock Beach sales weekend 2 weeks ago at the last minute because they have bought all the Centex projects around that area Including
Bulow Shores and yet more land for another golf course. Ginn is currently buying 19 Centex projects totaling some $750,000,000
The sudden news prompted reservations on some Centex projects in the area that will almost certainly double in price over night when they officially become Ginn lots after Xmas. We managed to get several reservations in for ourselves and clients, but they are being snapped by the Ginn-ites and people in the know. They are 50% of what Ginn is charging for the same kind of lots on the same water next door. I was amazed just how incredible some of the land is up there, only 90 mins from this side of Orlando. Their is so much planned there its going be a great alternative place to stay for a while. We may possibly be able to get a few more reservations in before the deadline.
That whole area continues to break all records regarding growth in the US.
